Brand & design

Business goals and user goals united in one product: digital experiences that work intuitively. They carry the brand instead of diluting it.

The building blocks

Five fields that build on each other: first the position, then the system, then the execution.

Brand positioning

Before anything is designed, it has to be clear what the brand stands for: who it reaches, what it sets itself apart from, which promise it keeps. With us, positioning comes out of data- and evidence-based strategy work.

Outcome: a position that design and language can be measured against.

Corporate & visual design

Visual branding brings structure to digital products, websites and content: colours, typography, imagery and modules, laid out systematically so every touchpoint stays recognisable. Carefully chosen typography provides readability and a clear visual hierarchy. Where something already exists, we start with a visual branding audit.

Outcome: a system of colour, type and modules instead of case-by-case calls.

Corporate & digital language

Brands speak: in every text, every button, every error message. We define tone, language rules and phrasing patterns so the brand sounds the same everywhere: on the website, in the newsletter, in sales. With AI-assisted content creation in particular, a documented brand language becomes a production advantage.

Outcome: a documented language base, also the ground for AI-assisted copy.

User experience & UI design

We review products consistently from the user's perspective and design interactions to be as simple, clear and pleasant as possible. Testing happens with people from the actual target group: usability tests on the prototype deliver feedback before anything expensive gets built. Accessibility is a requirement here, not a nice-to-have.

Outcome: interactions tested on a prototype before anything expensive gets built.

Information architecture

Information architecture decides whether users find what they are looking for. We structure content, navigation and page types so audiences can orient themselves intuitively, validated with methods such as tree testing instead of with opinions.

Outcome: a structure validated with tree testing rather than opinion.

See the work

With design, the work argues better than a description of it. Portals, design systems and brand identities from 16 years.

How design projects run

01

Analysis

A UX audit or branding audit where something already exists, plus market and technical setup, closely interlocked with strategy, SEO, analytics and development.

02

Requirements

UX workshops produce the requirements picture: what does the product need to do to meet user and business goals? User stories make it concrete.

03

Structure

Information architecture and sitemap define the frame: page types, content types and how they connect.

04

Concept & user testing

Wireframes and priority guides set structure and hierarchy. The prototype is tested with real users, before visual design starts.

05

UI & visual design

All modules and screens, systematically built to atomic design in a style guide, focused on usability, accessibility and responsive behaviour.

Test before you build

Concepts are refined with real user feedback before visual design starts. That saves the most expensive kind of correction: the one after launch.
