Competitive analysis

Where do your competitors stand digitally, in visibility, content and AI use? We show the gaps you can take.

Why the outside view belongs here

A potential is only a potential if someone else has not already taken it. The competitive analysis puts your own position in relation: where the market is saturated, where it is open, and where a lead costs more than it returns.

What interests us is not a complete comparison of every metric, but the question of which gap can be taken with reasonable effort.

How we work

01

Define the competitors

Not everyone who looks similar competes for the same demand. We separate direct competitors from those who merely share the same space.

02

Measure visibility

Rankings, search volume and share of the relevant topics, in classic search and in generative answers.

03

Compare content

Which topics do the others hold, at what depth, in which formats? This is where the gaps show.

04

Assess AI use

Where do competitors visibly work with AI, in content, service, personalisation? It shifts what the market expects.

05

Derive openings

The comparison produces not a ranking report but a list of places where a lead is realistic.

The outcome

A competitive profile with concrete openings: named competitors, the topics they hold, and the places where visibility is within reach. Together with the market potential analysis this forms the outside view of the Game Plan.

Where this sits

Competitive analysis is module 02 of six in the Game Plan. It can be commissioned on its own.
