Marketing automation & CRM

Customer data says nothing if nobody acts on it. CRM and marketing automation connect the two and turn them into systematic, personal communication.

Where CRM and marketing automation work together

The CRM collects what is known about a contact: purchases, enquiries, interests, status in the sales process. Marketing automation uses that knowledge and communicates automatically, at the right moment, with the right message.

Taken separately, both systems stay incomplete. Sales knows the contact, marketing knows the behaviour, but nobody knows both together. The result: leads get lost between departments, enquiries sit unanswered, communication feels generic instead of personal.

Typical challenges

Systems grown over years without interfaces. Inconsistent or duplicate contact data. Automation with no strategy behind it: workflows nobody can survey any more. And a tool decision taken before the actual requirement was clear.

Our approach: consulting before tooling

We are not specialised in one tool. We are specialised in the question before it: which system fits your sales, your processes, your team? Tool selection follows the requirement, not the other way round.

For HubSpot, Pipedrive, Brevo, Mailchimp and Zapier we advise and implement. For larger systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 we support the selection process and the requirements phase. Specialised partners handle the implementation.

How we work

01

Understand processes and data

How do contacts move through sales and marketing today? We review existing systems, data quality and interfaces before we change anything.

02

Map the customer journey across touchpoints

Where does contact begin, where interest, where a buying decision? We assign the right communication to every stage.

03

Tool selection and integration

Technology-neutral rather than predetermined: we recommend the system that fits the requirement and connect it cleanly to existing structures.

04

Lead management and lead scoring

Which enquiry is ready for sales? We define criteria and handover points so leads do not get lost between marketing and sales.

05

Segmentation and automated communication

Audiences, behaviour, lifecycle: we build workflows that address contacts automatically and personally, instead of covering them with standard mails.

06

Tracking and continuous optimisation

Open rates, clicks, conversions: we measure what works and keep developing automation, segments and scoring.

What you end up with

Not a tool standing on its own, but a system that grows with you. Depending on the starting point, that includes:

  • a clear CRM and automation strategy along the customer journey
  • criteria for lead management and lead scoring
  • segmentation logic and automated workflows
  • a well-founded tool recommendation including an integration plan
  • dashboards for tracking and measuring success
  • a roadmap for continuous development

In practice: central ticketing in professional sport

Before the project, every ticketing and fan service enquiry arrived in shared mailboxes, with no sorting by topic and no overview of volume or processing status. We built central ticketing in HubSpot Service Hub: a single contact form with a topic dropdown routes enquiries to the right team automatically, and fixed SLAs and service hours make the process reliable. Scattered mailboxes have become one shared, filterable ticket overview. Coming next: a knowledge base, chatflows and an AI-supported customer agent.

Marketing automation does not work without content

Automated communication needs substance: e-mails, landing pages, nurturing journeys. The content strategy delivers that material, and marketing automation makes sure it reaches the right person at the right time.

Frequently asked questions

Who are marketing automation and CRM for?
For marketing, sales, CRM and digital leads who want to make better use of customer data, reduce manual processes, and automate and personalise their communication.
Which tools do you work with?
Actively advised and implemented: HubSpot, Pipedrive, Brevo, Mailchimp and Zapier in client projects. For Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365 we support the selection process and the requirements phase.
Do we have to decide on a tool first?
No. The requirement comes first, the tool after it.
What sets you apart from a pure tool rollout?
We look at processes, data and journey, not only at configuration.
What do we need to get started?
Access to the existing systems and clarity about the key processes in sales.
How long does the rollout take?
That depends on the scope. In the diagnostic call we place a realistic order of magnitude.
