netzstrategen machen Feierabend
Feierabend is the German word for the moment the working day ends. Since November 2013 we have marked it four times a year by opening our doors: talks from the digital world, drinks, snacks and conversation with people wrestling with the same questions. No name badges, no networking script. Just an evening among colleagues. The talks are held in German.
When and where
The Feierabend takes place four times a year: on the second Tuesday of the last month of each quarter: March, June, September and December. Doors open at 6 pm.
Usually we host it at our own place, Alter Schlachthof 47 in Karlsruhe. From time to time it will move to other venues around the city, so the invitation always names the exact address.

How an evening runs
Every Feierabend has its own motto and one or two talks of around 20 minutes. After that there is time for the part most people come for: asking, thinking further, meeting someone who has already solved the problem you are stuck on.
The topics come from day-to-day digital work: projects, tools, failures, finds. What counts is that the speaker has actually worked with the thing.
The Feierabend is open and free. We only ask for a registration so we know how much to buy. The invitation with the sign-up link goes out via the mailing list.
Fancy giving a talk?
We are always looking for good talks: interesting projects, useful tools, honest experience from the digital world. You do not have to be a professional speaker. Caring about the topic is enough. A short mail to meet@netzstrategen.com with your idea will do.
