My name is Miguel Lucas. In July 2018, I came to Germany from Spain with my family (wife and kids) to work at netzstrategen and I am still working here with the same motivation and enthusiasm as when I started. My interest in the digital world started almost two decades ago, when you still had to dial into the internet with your home phone and listen to music or white noise that are unthinkable today.
In Spain, I worked for years as an online MKT manager, managing and coordinating online stores, hence my passion and interest in the different e-commerce platforms. I even graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Alicante (E-Commerce & Digital Marketing) and even got my own online store up and running. This led me to the e-commerce team, where I support different projects as an e-commerce manager. For some time now, I’ve also been working in parallel as a sitebuilder, working closely with our other disciplines and helping make our clients’ dreams come true.
Some important projects I am working on or have recently worked on for our clients are BEDDA, WOPA, LAMP, GACO, MENTAL AKTIV, NEEO etc., or internal projects like our corporate websites (netzstrategen.com, hallo.digital, and marketing-monsters).
If you want to meet me in person and learn a bit more about me, you can find me at our monthly #nmfka in our Karlsruhe office or for example at conventions like the last hallo.digital. I’m also present in social networks like LinkedIn and Xing, but not really active.
In my free time, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family, and on weekends I try to cook paellas with my friends, where I can drink my own beers and improve my German, because the more I drink, the better speak.
In the 10 questions, Miguel reveals, among other things, why he moved from Spain to Germany.
We support you with your online shop and other marketplaces. As an e-commerce team, we work very closely with our colleagues from other disciplines. You can meet us in beautiful Karlsruhe and at our events online and in person.
