User Interface Design refers to digital user interfaces, meaning interfaces between humans and digital products. Graphical user interfaces like buttons, navigation menus, and typography are parts of the user interface. However, voice-controlled and gesture-controlled interfaces must also function in an uncomplicated manner and be designed accordingly. Basically, everything that a person can “use” on a website is a user interface.
What’s most important in UI design is making a user’s experience of navigating your site as pleasant and accessible as possible. Ideally, a user interface should be simple and visually appealing, but not cluttered or confusing. Goals and destinations should be simple and easily solvable at first glance. The user interface is effectively the bridge by which people reach your product. They should be able to act and navigate it in exactly the way they want, while still being clearly guided towards a predetermined conversion.
