What is Information Architecture?
The term information architecture refers to the organization and structure with which, for example, the sitemap of a website is organized. This structure has a significant influence on the usability of a page, which is why it’s important to create hierarchies and map meaningful sequences. When users can easily navigate your website, they are more likely to return to the content, stay longer, and, ideally, prefer to use your products over your competitors’. That’s why information architecture is an important focus point in our user-centered design process.
