I have been working for netzstrategen in Karlsruhe since July 2018. They were my first choice when I was looking for a job. I had never worked in a digital strategy consultancy before and wanted to take on this as my next challenge. Our first contact was via Cyberforum, an industry network.
netzstrategen are very well organised. I would particularly like to emphasise that they are specialists in each of their work disciplines. They are also very professional when it comes to approaching and structuring each of their projects. In addition, they have an exceptional relationship with their clients. In the office, the interaction between colleagues couldn’t be better and they also have a large fridge with drinks 😉!
Based on my experience as an online marketing manager in Spain, I will be working as an eCommerce project manager at netzstrategen. This gives me direct contact with customers and allows me to utilise my experience with various e-commerce platforms.
For many companies, an online presence is still a utopia due to a lack of technical expertise and market knowledge. This is where I come into play by contributing my knowledge and experience to make the project a success together with our customers.
My mum belonged to a different generation and never really understood what I was doing. My answer was always: “I help other people to earn more money and therefore be happier” and her answer was: “Well, then you’ve earned your way to heaven”.
“Rome wasn’t built in a day either.” That’s what I try to convey to anyone starting out in this digital world. You have to be patient and do things right from the start before you can achieve results. It’s not always the one who finishes first who runs fast.
Of course, I can access everything via the internet. I usually always have a few blogs or platforms that I visit every day so that I’m up-to-date with everything that really interests me. But the best way for me to learn has always been the challenge in front of me. Theory and practice don’t always go hand in hand. These are some of my favourite blogs:

Whatsapp is the app I couldn’t give up. It is the engine that connects me with my contacts. The other apps I use are useful, but they play a subordinate role for me.
I would try to open a restaurant specialising in Spanish cuisine (a passion I inherited from my father). There would only be 17 tables, which would correspond to the 17 regions of Spain. Each table would bear the name of a region and there would only be typical dishes from that region. If you wanted paella, you would sit at the Valencian table, if you wanted salmorejo, you would go to Andalusia… 🙂
Wenn du mich zum Essen nach Hause einlädst, ruiniere ich Dich. Ich esse und vor allem trinke ich für drei Leute, auch wenn ich nicht so aussehe! 😃
