Unusually for a sports scientist, I was drawn to marketing after my master’s degree. Even during my master’s degree at KIT, I often attended the #nmfkas organised by netzstrategen and continued my education on a wide range of digital transformation and marketing topics. When I found an open position as a content writer in the Content Carl: team, I applied immediately – with success.
As a content writer, I can channel all my scientific knowledge about health topics into my texts. For this reason, I mainly work for clients from the pharmaceutical industry such as Schwabe, Danone and FIAMI. Whether it’s snippet optimisation, creating briefings or text optimisation – what I love about my work is the variety, but also the different tools I can use for this.
Technical topics interest me at least as much as health-related topics. My experience from my training as a technical product designer helps me to understand particularly complex problems and solutions from customers in industry and to put them into words.
I learnt about my new passion, site building, in a project here. It all started with a hackathon for the Content Carl: website. Six months ago, I had no idea how to create a new post for a website – today I’m having a ball styling the posts.
I can actually be found in the Alter Schlachthof office every day because I simply enjoy spending time with my colleagues. I secretly feel like a feel-good manager and like to lend a hand when girl power is needed.
In my free time, I play 7s and 15s rugby, do weight training or dedicate myself to small DIY projects. Always with me: my cat Maddy and music!
