Administration

1. Since when have you been part of the team?

I’ve been part of the team since October 2024. After earning my degree in business administration in Mannheim, I spent the last 12 years working at a medium-sized accounting firm in Karlsruhe. I was already familiar with netzstrategen from what André had told me. I liked what he had said. When he told me about the restructuring of the admin team, I jumped at the chance to join and contribute.

2. What do you like most about netzstrategen?

For me, it’s the people who make working at netzstrategen so special. We’re a diverse group of specialists who excel in their respective fields with genuine passion and expertise. But what inspires me most is the sense of community: even though we’re all working on very different projects, there’s a tremendous sense of camaraderie and mutual respect that you rarely find elsewhere.

3. What is your daily business and in which field are you specialised?

I handle coordination within the admin team. I’m also usually the first point of contact for our financial figures, legal matters, and data protection.

4. What impresses you the most in your field?

It’s the wide range of areas involved – human resources, accounting, contracts, data protection, and financial management – and the skill of integrating them all so that everything runs smoothly.

5. How would you explain your job to your mum?

You don’t need to explain what administration is to anyone around here 😉

6. Any tip concerning your field you’d like to give away?

Garbage in, garbage out – if you want accurate results, you have to start with the input. Clean data is the foundation of any strategy.

7. Which sources help you to stay up to date?

Handelsblatt, Manager Magazin, Haufe, ARD, and, last but not least, Deutschlandfunk

8. Any Apps you couldn’t live without?

WhatsApp and Google Maps are hard to replace.

9. If someone would delete the internet tomorrow, what else would you do?

That’s an interesting thought experiment. Maybe I’d use the break to learn a new craft. But since I enjoy working with numbers and legal issues, I’d probably just stick to local matters. If necessary, I’d even use a pen and paper.

10. Tell us a secret about yourself, something you haven’t told anyone yet!

I’m old-fashioned – I only share that kind of information in person.
