I have been a UX designer with netzstrategen since the beginning of 2016 and am responsible for the conception and design of digital products. In the design process, I place particular emphasis on gathering user feedback at an early stage to ensure that the requirements and wishes of the target group are met and that the interface is intuitively understandable.
The amount of information available to us on the Internet is immense, and the challenges of presenting it in an appealing way are constantly growing.
I deal with the interaction of complex information and its design on a daily basis: How do I structure content so that it can be used as intuitively and effectively as possible? In which shape can I present it most clearly, so that no questions remain unanswered? What are the factors that make users happy and keep them loyal to a product?
At the Karlsruhe location, together with my great team, I am responsible for finding clever answers to these questions. In addition to UX consulting and conducting UX audits, I define requirements for digital products, create concepts in the form of wireframes and prototypes, and evaluate them in usability testing or treetesting. The latter is one of my favorite tasks, as it shows how users actually interact with a digital product, and we can always draw valuable conclusions from it.
In my professional work as well as in my private life, I find it important to have empathy. It always helps to put yourself in other people’s shoes to understand their circumstances and needs and then find good (UX) solutions or just be a good friend or colleague. My favorite value is thus “Be empathetic”.
In my spare time, I like to be offline sometimes. Living in the beautiful Southern Palatinate, I like to spend my time in nature, running, hiking, or mountain biking in the forest, or gardening.
