My name is Andres and I love coding and solving different design and programming problems. I have a passion for technology and being a developer is my dream job.
My love for the digital world dates back to my childhood. When I was 12 years old, more than 20 years ago, I accidentally came across a college assignment from my oldest brother. Without knowing what it was about, I quickly understood that it was one of the first implementations of HTML, which will end up building what we now call the web. Regardless of my young age, I was able to assist my brother with his homework and started to play around with this new fascinating language that was being unveiled to me. From that moment on, my passion for technology and computers never left me.
I currently work at netzstrategen’s Barcelona office as part of the development team that is in charge of creating and maintaining websites for our clients. My main duties are related to the creation of new components and complete sites, fixing and changing pre-existing functionalities and designs and making sure that everything functions correctly. I can work both in the front and backend.
As a seasoned developer, I have gathered experience in different platforms, frameworks, and languages and continue updating myself in our always-changing technological ecosystem. I believe in the power of creative computing by mixing arts, multimedia, web design, and other interactive systems.
I enjoy speaking foreign languages, video games, movies and crypto currencies.
