I started my career the traditional way — with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic and further training as a master craftsman in precision engineering. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, business thinking came naturally to me from an early age. The curiosity to build and develop things myself has stayed with me to this day.
That drive led me step by step into the digital world. Through courses, further training, and certifications, I built solid expertise in the Google ecosystem and increasingly specialised in search engine advertising. From 2023, I supported netzstrategen as a freelancer before joining the team full-time in April 2025.
Today I work at netzstrategen in the SEA (Search Engine Advertising) area — both in an advisory and hands-on capacity. I implement campaigns, refine strategies, and manage accounts holistically. For me, that includes not just Google Ads, but also Meta campaigns, clean tracking, and landing page optimisation. These intersections are exactly what makes SEA exciting to me — because successful campaigns depend heavily on factors like Quality Score, data quality, and user experience.
I work closely with Stephan and Joris, and I am deeply engaged with the shifting landscape of the digital world. Search behaviour is changing — especially across generations — and that is precisely why companies need to continuously challenge and evolve their marketing strategies. I see this above all as a huge opportunity for small and medium-sized businesses to gain visibility through targeted online marketing and grow sustainably.
What particularly convinces me about digital work: it works from anywhere — and creates new opportunities for efficient collaboration, flexibility, and future-proof business models.
