When I asked myself what I wanted to do for a living, I quickly realized that I felt at home in anything to do with communication. I chose to start with linguistics – it’s super exciting to understand how we learn language in the first place, what structural conditions underlie it, and what the semantics and the context in which we move every day ultimately make of it.
And it was exactly from there that I dived deeper and deeper into the world of communication. For more than five and a half years, I gained experience as a PR specialist creating communication concepts, organizing press conferences, running social media channels, and writing texts dominated my daily work. The job description in PR has changed from the classic press office to an all-rounder for print and online; and that’s a good thing.
My path led me to netzstrategen because here I have the opportunity to help develop and implement clients’ content strategies, and I was excited by the people and the culture. As a content strategist, I’m busy researching topics, matching data and real needs by preparing content for specific target groups, and then packaging it all into the right content.
In concrete terms, this means analyses and content audits, workshops for concrete strategy development, and the resulting action planning for operational implementation. In short: strategically aligning and keeping an eye on internal and external communications at all levels and channels, and coordinating them with one another.
When I’m not in the depths of the content world, I prefer to spend my time outside walking our family dogs, inline skating, or simply enjoying a good coffee in the sun 🙂
