The Strategen family welcomed me at the beginning of March 2021. Before that, I worked as a PR specialist in the trade fair industry for over 5 years. The professional field of PR has changed a lot over the years – from classic press releases to SEO-optimised online texts. Going through this change was super exciting and the content topics interested and inspired me from the very beginning – just like netzstrategen itself.
The people, the concentrated expertise and the culture. It’s really nice to see how appreciative, respectful and, above all, transparent the interaction is. And I’ve rarely seen so many incredibly smart people in one place, which is very enriching!
As a content strategist, my area of responsibility ranges from implementing the content strategies we develop together for clients to SEO-optimised preparation of content for digital channels and the actual creation of texts. The work is very closely interlinked with the SEO team and I am currently still learning a lot more 🙂
The work is never “over”. There is always an opportunity to discover a new subject area, optimise an existing one or question the planned steps due to new circumstances or developments. And capturing these steps in texts is the cherry on top of the cake.
I would tell her that part of my job is to make great content visible, prepare it for specific target groups and match people’s search queries with the content they need to answer them.
Changing perspectives is very important in order to convey content in a way that is understandable and tangible. In communication, we sometimes tend not to name the things that are obvious to us 🙂
Clearly Google Maps and Spotify – what would the world be like without music?
I would probably start a dog breeding programme…for Labradors or Havanese.
I love singing in the shower. I haven’t told anyone this yet, but I suspect that our neighbours have unfortunately heard it a time or two…
