Making content accessible for everyone
For people with disabilities, navigating a website can be a major challenge. That’s why content should be prepared in a way that makes it accessible for everyone, like, for example, people with visual impairments rely on screen readers. In our accessibility audit, we check whether your website content is accessible to all users in a logical and accessible order.
Specifications for accessible websites
There are many ways to make your website more accessible. We’re happy to support you during your first steps! In our audit, we check your website for its overall accessibility. In doing so, we are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the EU requirements. These guidelines aim to make web-based content accessible to people with disabilities like visual or hearing impairments. This does not result in any disadvantages for other users.

Our process
1.
We determine which pages and content you want to audit.
2.
We perform the audit
- Step by step, we check your content and its compatibility
- Our developers take a look at the code
- Our designers check frontend, structure, and page layout
3.
We collect all the points that need to be addressed
We’ll give you a list that shows all the points where your content is not accessible.
We’ll show you where the issues lie
After we have checked the most important accessibility points, we document the result in a report. We will discuss the result in a meeting. Afterward, you can take this list with you and start working on it immediately.
We align with 2 WCAG 2.0
WCAG 2.0 guidelines are categorized into three levels of conformance to accommodate different groups and situations:
- A (lowest level)
- AA (middle level)
- AAA (highest level)
In most cases, we recommend AA and offer it in our audit. Here you can find more information about the WCAG 2.0 levels and for which website they are mandatory to implement.
Accessibility criteria
The WCAG has defined a total of 61 success criteria for website accessibility, which serve as a basis for its practical implementation. You can read more about them in the official sources. The four most important principles we care about in the audit are:
- Perceptibility
- Usability
- Comprehensibility
- Durability
Accessibility audit: price
Before we start the audit, we will provide you with a non-binding quote.
The price of the audit depends on how complex the website and content we are auditing is. Therefore, we ask a few points about it in the contact form. We could also check the usability of your website or the visual branding.
